
Régis Darques is a research fellow at the French CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research). He is a member of the UMR 7300 ESPACE lab located in Aix-en-Provence. His areas of expertise cover geoinformatics, advanced GIS, remote sensing, data mining and chaos theory. He has published different books and articles at various scientific publishers, including Springer-Nature. During the COVID-19 pandemics, he dedicated his time to spatially address the virus spread among the French population, with a special focus on urban hot spots and sewerage networks.

Eric Carroll is a distinguished research engineer at the French CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) with an expertise in computer science. He specializes in information systems and software development, and he is particularly interested in data science and machine learning. He is a member of the UMR 7300 ESPACE lab. With over thirty years of experience, he has contributed to numerous research projects. His works earned him the prestigious CNRS crystal medal in 2019. His intact passion for scientific research enabled him to achieve different technological breakthroughs.
