Régis Darques is a research fellow at the French CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research). He is a member of the UMR 7300 ESPACE lab located in Aix-en-Provence.
His areas of expertise cover geoinformatics, advanced GIS, remote sensing, data mining and chaos theory. He has published different books and articles at various scientific publishers, including Springer-Nature.
During the COVID-19 pandemics, he dedicated his time to spatially address the virus spread among the French population, with a special focus on urban hot spots and sewerage networks.

Éric Carroll is a Senior Research Engineer at the French CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) with expertise in computer science and geospatial information systems. He specializes in spatial data science, artificial intelligence, and complex systems, and is a member of the UMR 7300 ESPACE laboratory.
With over thirty years of experience, he develops data-driven approaches for large-scale spatial and network analysis. Actively engaged in international collaborations, his work addresses global scientific and societal challenges.
He was awarded the CNRS Crystal Medal in 2019.
