Régis Darques is a CNRS researcher and a member of the UMR 7300 ESPACE laboratory in Aix-en-Provence. His expertise spans geoinformatics, advanced GIS, remote sensing, data mining, spatial modelling and chaos theory. He has published books and scientific articles with major academic publishers, including Springer Nature. Within TRACEnet, he co-developed the scientific and methodological approach, with a particular focus on spatial analysis, network modelling, field methodologies, application scenarios and scientific validation.

Éric Carroll is a CNRS Research Engineer and a member of the UMR 7300 ESPACE laboratory in Aix-en-Provence. He designs computational methods and scientific digital infrastructures for the analysis of complex spatial systems. Within TRACEnet, he co-developed the scientific and methodological approach, and designed the core graph-based methods, automation and software architecture required to turn the approach into an operational and reusable platform. His work combines scientific modelling, algorithm design and software engineering. He was awarded the CNRS Crystal Medal in 2019.
